High Bridge and Sailor's Creek Battlefield 1/5/13

 

High Bridge is awesome! It’s just a flat, level, straight, smooth sand road over a former railroad line. The bridge itself is “eh”, but the rest of the trail screams for HORSES! (or bikes….) There are several places you can access the trail and it goes for many, many miles. It was a nice walk.

We stopped by Sailor's Creek Battlefield while we were there to look around. It’s a nice little historical site with a visitor’s center. I’d love to take my classes there.
